Our journey in senior care began many years ago with a Personal Care Home in Rex, Georgia. What started as one small home and a desire to provide seniors with a safe, comfortable, and caring place to live eventually grew into something that has become a part of our entire family.

Senior care has never been just a business to us it has always been personal.

When it came time to open our newest facility, that family spirit could be seen in every part of the process. Our entire family pitched in to help from the children to the parents and grandparents. We cleaned, painted, decorated, moved furniture, prepared rooms, worked outside, and handled countless little details together to get the home ready for our residents.

Even the children helped, because we want them to grow up understanding what it means to care for others and to take pride in something our family has built together.

Those days of getting the home ready are some of our favorite memories because they represent exactly who we are. There wasn't a large corporation behind the scenes preparing everything. It was our family, working side by side, putting our own time, energy, and love into creating a beautiful place for another family to call home.

Today, that same family involvement continues at Madison House Senior Living and Oconee House Senior Living. We all work hard in different ways to keep our homes running and to make sure our residents are cared for with dignity, compassion, and respect.

We intentionally want our communities to feel different from a large institution. We want residents and their families to know the people behind their care and to feel comfortable reaching out to us.

When you entrust someone you love to Madison House or Oconee House, we understand the responsibility that comes with that decision. We are proud to put our family name, our time, and our hearts behind the care we provide.

Our story began with one Personal Care Home in Rex, Georgia, and generations of our family are now helping carry that tradition forward.
